aixstent® BDP

Bile Duct Stent, percutaneous

In some special cases an approach to the ductus choledochus via the papilla is not possible. As a solution, the PTW delivery system was developed which allows percutaneous stent placement. Prior percutaneous cholangiography identifies position and dimension of the stenosis in the bile ducts.

The guiding stability of the delivery system ensures precise and reliable stent placement under x-ray control. The Bile Duct Stent BDP with its is available without cover, or with partial silicone cover.

Other sizes and types are available as custom made stents. See form “Request for Customization”.
